Isolator Gloves
Isolator boxes and so-called RABS (restricted access barrier systems) are gaining importance in various industries, from pharmaceutical and electronics manufacturing to food processing and nuclear applications. They shield the product from people and the environment and offer people and the environment protection from hazards and critical materials. The controlled, regulated work environment inside the box is isolated from the outside world by a barrier and is usually sterile or clean. The atmosphere can be precisely adjusted in terms of air pressure, humidity and other parameters to meet the specific requirements of the application.
Every material and every application requires a specific isolator glove, which must be tailored to the needs of the task in the isolator box. Mechanical properties, temperature and chemical resistance of the material, the fit and the sterilization types of the isolator gloves are criteria that should be considered when making a suitable selection.

Butyl Isolator Glove
These butyl rubber isolator gloves are suitable for the safe handling of a wide variety of materials in isolators and in particularly critical applications. Butyl offers exceptionally high impermeability to water, water vapour, gases and a wide range of toxic and aggressive chemicals, thereby ensuring reliable protection in sensitive processes. The material is particularly resistant to solvents and media containing oxygen and oxidising agents, and exhibits very good resistance to ozone and UV radiation. At the same time, butyl remains highly flexible and elastic even at low temperatures, enabling precise and comfortable handling even under demanding conditions. EPDM Isolator Glove
These EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer) insulating gloves are designed for use in controlled environments such as laboratories, cleanrooms and pharmaceutical production facilities, where reliable protection against contamination and hazardous substances is required. The material is characterised by excellent resistance to heat, oxidation, ozone and a wide range of chemicals, thereby offering high performance in demanding applications. EPDM is particularly valued for its durability, flexibility and resistance to mechanical stress, and remains reliable even under critical conditions. The glove is suitable for up to 90 autoclave cycles and therefore offers a particularly long service life.
