Contec ProChlor is a revolutionary new sporicide that kills 100% of spores in under a minute. It has been validated for sporicidal transfer disinfection under real-world conditions and achieves its sporicidal effect on the paper side of syringe packaging and complete elimination on samples from the plastic side of syringe packaging in one minute with a log 5 factor.
Contec ProChlor, a patent-pending mixture of hypochlorous acid in distilled water, is effective against bacteria, fungi, mould, yeasts, viruses and spores.
Contec ProChlor is available as the SATWIPE system for on-site reprocessing. Each double-packed unit contains a container with 120 hot-air-dried polypropylene wipes (34 g/m²) and 700 ml of Contec ProChlor in a 1-litre bottle.
Add 700 ml of ProChlor to the dry roll 5 minutes before use and then use the pre-soaked wipes within 8 hours.
Contec ProChlor is filtered to 0.2 micrometres and bottled in a Class A environment.
A sterile version is also available.
