Cleanroom Basic – The tried-and-tested all-rounder for use in cleanrooms

Cleanroom Basic meets all these criteria thanks to its high-quality construction. Extensive test series with test certificates, as well as daily use in extreme working environments, demonstrate its high quality standards.

Fraunhofer confirms cleanroom qualification

The Fraunhofer IPA qualification seal certifies that Reinraum Basic is suitable for use in cleanrooms in accordance with :

• Air cleanliness class 3 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1
• Air cleanliness class 1 in accordance with US Fed. St. 209 E
• EU GMP guidelines
• Electrostatic dissipation in accordance with EN 61340-5-1

Cleanroom properties

The smooth, closed surfaces of the seat and backrest panelling prevent turbulence and stop particles from settling on the chair when the filter system is in continuous operation.

Faux leather, upholstery and upholstery supports are firmly bonded together using a foam-backed construction technique, ensuring that any particle emission is reliably prevented.

All bimos cleanroom chairs are electrostatically dissipative in accordance with EN 61340-5-1 and offer reliable protection against electrostatic charging.

The chairs are fitted with high-gloss polished and abrasion-resistant aluminium base frames. The seat support and backrest covers are made of plastic.

Design and materials

The die-cast aluminium base is high-gloss polished and fitted with conductive castors. The synthetic leather upholstery, which is also conductive and tear-resistant, is slip-resistant and provides a firm grip even when wearing smooth cleanroom clothing.

The Reinraum Basic 2 model with castors offered here is equipped with synchronous technology with weight adjustment and a 530 mm high backrest, and has a seat height adjustment range of 490 to 630 mm. Further versions available on request. The cleanroom chair is GS-tested and complies with the safety specifications and ergonomic requirements of the DIN 68877 standard.
